Why Board at Wilson's?
We are a learning community...
- Wilson's Hospital School is a 24-hour, intentional learning community created with the student’s growth and development at the centre. With a college campus feel, we pride ourselves on challenging academics, abundant arts and athletics offerings and a supervised, structured student life experience.
We succeed...
- Boarding school students succeed at significantly higher rates, especially in university and adult life.
We care...
- We care for our boarders. Our school community thrives in living in a diverse, close-knit community. We take pride in having small, challenging classes taught by teachers who care, and we foster all opportunities to create deep friendships among students from around the world.
Boarding Life at a glance...
- Fully modernised dormitories are laid out in sections, in separate buildings for boys and girls. Most rooms hold three or four beds, although some larger dormitories (for girls) have up to eight.
- Each student has their own lockable wardrobe and bedside locker. Students are encouraged to personalise their room as much as possible with posters, photos, rugs, bedlinen etc.
- Within their separate buildings both boys and girls are divided into sections according to year. First years, for example, have their own separate section. This eases pupils into residential living, as many will be living away from home for the first time.
