Student Council
The Student Council serves as the voice of the student body, representing student opinions and ideas to school leadership. Its functions include organising events, promoting school spirit, fostering a positive and inclusive school environment, and addressing student concerns. The council also helps build leadership skills, encourages active citizenship, and works to improve the overall school experience for all students by collaborating with staff, the Board of Management and Parents Council on various initiatives.
What we do
Our Student Council plays a vital role in enhancing school life by representing student voices and leading various initiatives. As part of our commitment to being an ISSU-affiliated school, the council ensures that students' opinions are heard at both local and national levels. In recent times, one of our major achievements has been the successful reinstatement of the school library, offering students a valuable resource for learning and relaxation. The council also leads important fundraising efforts, organising events that support the school and the wider community. This year, we are prioritising fundraising for new canteen appliances and recreational equipment to enhance student experiences during break and lunch times, ensuring a more comfortable and engaging environment for all.
